the short answer
The pen delivers TB-500 and BPC-157 together in a fixed 1:1 ratio: each click is about 167 mcg of each. There is no separate TB-500 click schedule. Under 25 lb, 1 click daily; 25–60 lb, 2 clicks daily; 60+ lb, 3 clicks Monday–Friday. This is a product schedule, not a universal TB-500 dose. Confirm the band with your vet.
| Dog weight | Clicks | Schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Under 25 lb | 1 click | Once daily |
| 25–60 lb | 2 clicks | Once daily |
| 60+ lb | 3 clicks | Monday–Friday |
The same fixed schedule as BPC-157, because the pen is a fixed combination. Not a veterinary mg/kg dose.
TB-500 is not dosed separately in this pen
The Dog Peptide Pen is a fixed combination of 10 mg BPC-157 and 10 mg TB-500 per 3.0 mL. There is no separate TB-500 dial, no TB-500-only pen, and no way to change the ratio. If your vet wants a different ratio or a single-compound product, this pen is not that product. The fixed ratio is a design choice, not a claim that the combination is proven.
The per-click arithmetic
One click is 0.05 mL. The pen holds 10 mg of TB-500 in 3.0 mL, which is 3.33 mg per mL. At 0.05 mL, one click carries about 0.1667 mg, or roughly 167 mcg, of TB-500. The same click carries about 167 mcg of BPC-157. The pen has 60 clicks total. That is the arithmetic for this product; it is not a TB-500 dose recommendation.
Why 'more TB-500' is not an option
More is not better with research compounds. There is no controlled canine dose-response data for TB-500, so increasing the click count would be guesswork, not science. The 1/2/3 click schedule is the product's fixed delivery schedule. If you want a different amount, the honest answer is that this pen cannot give it to you, and a different product would need its own vet conversation.
What the research does and does not establish
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in cell migration and tissue repair. A 2026 orthopaedic review says direct musculoskeletal evidence for TB-4 remains limited to in-vitro and rodent studies, and TB-500 is a distinct seven-amino-acid fragment that is often conflated with full-length TB-4. The review says none of these agents has an FDA-approved musculoskeletal indication or a validated orthopaedic protocol.
The vet conversation and 28-day window
Bring your dog's weight, medications, conditions, the label, and the batch certificate. Ask your vet to confirm the weight band and whether the product fits the plan. Mix on day 1, use for 28 days, and discard 28 days after mixing even if clicks remain. Miss a day? Pick it up at the next dose; do not double-click. The routine is the point, not a race to empty the pen.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim this is a universal TB-500 dose or a mg/kg prescription.
- We do not claim TB-500 builds muscle, heals a tear, or cures anything.
- We do not claim the 1:1 ratio is a proven synergy.
- We do not claim more TB-500 is better.

Questions owners ask
What is the TB-500 dose for dogs?
The pen does not have a separate TB-500 dose. It delivers about 167 mcg of TB-500 and 167 mcg of BPC-157 per click, with 1 click under 25 lb, 2 clicks at 25–60 lb, and 3 clicks Monday–Friday at 60+ lb. Confirm the band with your vet.
Can I give TB-500 without BPC-157?
Not with this pen. It is a fixed combination. If your vet wants a single-compound product, this is not it.
How much TB-500 is in one click?
About 167 mcg. One click is 0.05 mL, and the pen holds 10 mg TB-500 plus 10 mg BPC-157 per 3.0 mL.
Does TB-500 build muscle?
No. It is studied for cell migration and tissue repair, not muscle growth. The evidence in dogs is preclinical, and it is not an FDA-approved veterinary drug.
